Virus Lecture Series
This lecture performance on viruses and virus structures is my best attempt to interpret and repeat a 3-part lecture series by virologist Professor Stephen Harris.
All 3 of the original lectures are layered into a single audio track and fed to me via earbuds, thus condensing a 2.5 hour lecture into 45 minutes.
For the video, I created over 100 drawings. Each is a loose interpretations of actual scientific depictions of viruses. The Dadaist abstraction of visual and spoken language explore myths of expertise, knowledge production, and trust.
