What You Will Need:

  • 1 person to film or watch camera.
  • 1 person to perform.

The Video: Getting A Leg Up

  • This video project is extremely simple and straightforward. It will simply be 20-30 different video shots of Peter “getting a leg up” on various things around town.
  • Most of the time, Peter will be “getting his leg up” on his own – however whenever necessary assistance can be given to him by stranger(s) that are willing to help.
  • Note: Doug can help Peter “get his leg up” only once. Otherwise, different people must be used each time. Also, out of 25 shots only about 5 should be assisted by other people. For the most part, Peter will be getting his leg up on his own.

Rules for Filming:

  1. Each shot must start with Peter standing on screen near or next to the structure that he will be getting his leg up onto.
  2. Peter will simply do what he needs to do to get his leg up on the structure while keeping the other leg on the ground.
  3. Peter will hold the pose when his leg is up on the structure as still as possible for about 5 seconds.
  4. For each shot, the camera must be on a tripod and completely still. The camera must never move. Each shot must be outdoors. Each shot must be filmed very level.
  5. Always double check – however, how you compose and shot each shot is completely up to you. Repeat this performance in 22-30 different locations. (22-30 different shots).

The very first clip in the following video will serve as a perfect example of Peter’s ability to get his leg up onto things and show my immediate inspiration for this video.

Hints:

  • Finding various structures and locations is important
  • Peter should stretch before performing.
  • Enjoy yourself.
