Laura
Mott is a curator and writer. Born and raised in Texas,
she moved to New York City after completing a BFA in Art
and BA in Art History at UT Austin to work on the Whitney
Biennial 2002. She worked as Assistant Director of
Peter Freeman, Inc., New York before starting graduate school
at the Center for Curatorial Studies at Bard College.
In addition to these positions, she has curated independent
projects including The Moment Presents Itself in four vacant
brownstones in Brooklyn, and the upcoming All Sensations
Are Already Memory in Stockholm, Sweden.
